When with a patient, you will need to take away any biases you have and try to diagnose the patient's symptoms in the best way possible.

  • Observe the signs and symptoms that the patient expresses physically and emotionally and verbally
  • Look for repeating patterns in symptamology
  • Try to find the location of the symptoms and find a pattern in the progress of symptoms
  • Try to have them describe the sensation of the symptoms as best as they can
  • Find the modalities and what makes them better or worse both physically and emotionally
  • Distinguish what is acute and what appears to be chronic in the symptomalogy
  • Check for their thermal states – hot & hold and how they are affected physically and emotionally by either state
  • Check how they react physically and emotionally to the environment around them – Acidic or Alkaline
  • Compare organ remedies, Bach flowers, cell saltsor other alternative therapy if necessary
  • Make a distinction with other patients who  may have shown similar symptoms and try to find what makes their symptoms different from others to get to a better remedy
  • When groups of remedies keep coming up, try to find a Miasmatic relationship if possible between the remedies to see what course of action to take in treatment

By following these steps and not treating anything as trivial, you can easily find a good suitable remedy to treat your patient with and find success in the prescription.
